Too bad we made such a little amount, but it’s all we have with a mere 6 rows of this elusive varietal.

Our 2007 “Cuvée” exudes boysenberry, mineral and spice. It’s a wonderfully balanced, round wine with flavors of black cherry, bramble, slate and the tiniest smidge of fennel. Nice soft tannins offer a gentle, but pronounced structure and a juicy mid palate. This wine lingers with a yummy, juicy blackberry finish.

Our Reed vineyard Pinot Noir possesses the most unique flavor profile of our six single vineyard Pinots. Graceful and delicate in structure and body, this wine effuses a plethora of characters; sweet berry, plum and black raspberry with spicy dried fennel, rocks, herbs, briar and candied cherry in the nose, along with essence of gingerbread, orange peel, coffee and cedar. On the palate we find broad strokes of sassafras, mineral and cherries jubilee. This wine has a gentle tartness and a smooth, deep, lingering finish.

This 2007 Jensen Pinot Noir has a brilliant ruby color and an inviting, deep brooding nose of cassis and black cherry with softly integrated oak spice. A startling streak of mid-palate sweet strawberry fruit is accented by signature Mt. Harlan limestone graphite, cranberries and a tiny hint of vanilla. Fine grained tannins, great concentration, stealth richness & depth, and beautiful balance lead to a firm but lingering, delicious finish.
The heady bouquet on our 2007 Selleck vineyard Pinot Noir is youthful, broad and aromatic, with pomegranate, black cherry, rose petal, white pepper and strawberry. Deep, dense, rich flavors of boysenberry, cassis, limestone, devil’s food cake and a streak of sweet cherry underlie the rich mouthfeel with soft but pronounced fine-grained tannins that give us a peek into this wines very long aging potential. Its persistent finish is long and seductive.
